A mix-up in the hotel reservations have Mia and her co-worker Scott sharing a room with a single, king-sized bed. And though they try to make the best of it, sharing such an intimate space soon has the chemistry between them exploding in unexpected ways...

Excerpt:
“What do you mean, there must have been some mistake?”

As I listened to my co-worker, Scott, argue with the hotel front desk over the phone, I stared at the space where there should have been two twin beds side by side. Instead, a single king-sized bed dominated the area.

An awkward situation, to say the least.

Although Scott and I worked for the same company, we hardly knew each other. And we certainly weren’t intimate enough to want to share a bed.

He finished his call and hung up. As he turned to face me, he slashed his hand through his hair, making it stand on end in some places. “They said they’re very sorry, but they don’t know how this happened. Unfortunately, due to the convention, they don’t have another room available. Nor do they have any rollaway beds that they can bring to us.”

I forced myself to look away from the bed. “I guess we’ll just have to make the best of it, then.”

“We’re both adults.” There was an odd note to his voice, almost as if he was trying to convince himself of the truth of his words. “I'm sure we can deal with this.”

“Of course.” I turned and reached for my suitcase. Drawing out the garment bag that held most of the outfits that I'd brought for the convention. I could see that there was an iron and ironing board available, but I still felt that I should get my things hung in the closet as soon as possible. I hated ironing.

“Just promise not to hog the bathroom, Mia.”

I glanced over my shoulder at Scott. Behind his glasses, his eyes were gleaming and a faint smile turned up the corners of his lips. “From what I've heard from others who have been to these conventions with you, I think I should be the one saying that to you.”

He laughed. “Oh, is that why I heard that sales had to draw lots to determine who would come on this trip? And you lost?”

That was a little closer to the truth than I thought I should admit to. “Not because of you.” Scott had an interesting reputation, and not just for his grooming habits. He was considered to be quite a genius when it came to new product development and could sell it to a certain segment of clients. Yet he didn't know how to present things to the general public. He had a tendency to get a little too long-winded and overly-technical in his explanations. “No one wants to fly the red-eye both ways. Especially not around a holiday weekend.”

“Good point.” He loosened his tie and began unbuttoning his shirt and I suddenly found myself a little breathless.

He was in very good shape for someone who was considered, for all intents and purposes, a nerd. A geek.

I quickly turned away.

It had been a very long time since I’d been with a man. And my hormones were roaring back to life at that moment, as if they wanted to remind me that they still existed. My pussy was certainly making a point. My panties were absolutely drenched.
