Bailey knows that her roommate, Lucy, intends to trap star college quarterback Jaxson, by tricking him into getting her pregnant. She's determined to save him, however she can, even if that means seducing him away from the other woman. But things don't go quite as planned and Bailey finds that her plan to save Jax may end up changing her own future. Forever...

Excerpt:
I found I couldn’t stay in the dorm room that night. I didn’t want to be there when Lucy returned, knowing that she would be reeking of sex and triumph.

It was frustrating as hell. I liked Jax. He was a good guy, if a bit dim. He certainly didn’t deserve to be caught by someone like Lucy, who really didn’t give a shit about him beyond what she thought she could get out of his family and his connections.

I texted my old buddy Andy, asking if I could hang out at his place instead. He was a couple of years older than I was and we had gone to high school together. He was living off-campus now, thanks to his very generous parents.

The spoiled brat.

Even though I was still two years away from being of legal age to drink, he was more than willing to buy me beer. Not that I really liked the stuff, but tonight, I was consuming it in hopes of forgetting everything else.

Something that didn’t go unnoticed by Andy. A quizzical look, a few subtle questions, and somehow, he got me to tell him everything. About Jax. About Lucy’s plans for him. And how frustrated I was by all of it.

“If he’s dumb enough to fall for her ploy, then he deserves to get trapped, Bailey.”

“Nobody deserves to be stuck with Lucy.”

“She’s fucking hot.”

I rolled my eyes. “You can say that because you don’t have to live with her every single fucking day.”

“I don’t know. I might be willing to put up with a lot if I could.”

“You’re just as bad as Jax. Thinking with the head between your legs instead of the one above your shoulders.”

“Look, the only way you can save the guy from royally screwing himself over is to find another girl to distract him from fucking your roommate during the dangerous time of the month for her.”

“Yeah. And just what girl can possibly do that?”

“Hell, Bailey. Even you could. You just have to… you know.”

If I hadn’t been drinking, I might have let that comment go. But there’s a reason that alcohol is also called liquid courage. “No, I don’t know. Spit it out, buddy.”

“Just start with a blow job. No guy can resist that.”

“You’ve got to be kidding me.”
